Bad News..

I went to the specialist and I'm scheduled for an ultrasound and endoscopy on Monday. I'm not excited. Apparently my stomach and colon are broken and working very slowly. I'm..well, stunned might be the right word.

So I'm ignoring that until Monday. Between now and then I have two days of Continuing Legal Education. So I guess if I look at that and Monday as fun days, it's a five day weekend, right? Somehow I have an inkling that it won't be fun.

I finished my Kaffe Fassett socks. I'm casting on my Dye Trying yarn. I need plain stockinette therapy.

Well, it really has been an awful October for many of us. I hope solutions are on the way and you're feeling better soon!

Big hugs to you... my Mom was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year and is now going thru a combination of radiation & chemo in pill form. May you only have a slightly "broken" and fixable thing... I will be keeping you in my thoughts & prayers (and if this "reveals" who I am, well... so be it, but I wanted you to know I'm hear for ya!)

Oh no!

I hope they can give you some real answers and a plan to make things better after Monday. Oh, and I agree with Nell. Take any meds they offer. ;^)

Feel better, dear! I'll keep your tummy in my thoughts. Does that sound weird? Yea, I thought so too. Hmm.

Many, many good and positive thoughts will be going out to you from me. Definitely take the meds. And if you have to do a cleanout, definitely use the pill form (not the drink!). Please let us all know soon that you're okay.
